CKC Rentals first started in the 80’s when three local Oxford residents decided to stay in Oxford to go to college. Through the experience and assistance of one of their mother’s, who was in real estate sales in the community, they purchased their first house to live in together as college students. Since they also worked construction while attending Miami University, they remodeled the home to best fit the needs of college students. Once it was finished, they decided to earn income by leasing it to others. The cycle continued as they purchased, moved in, remodeled, and made available to lease to others.

After graduating, construction and development became a bigger focus of their business, but they continue to own, manage, and lease their properties. Eventually, their portfolio grew into what is available now. Their experience and reputation caused others to want to hire CKC Rentals as a management company. Since it is a requirement to have a Real Estate Licensed Professional to lease non-owned (third-party) property in the State of Ohio, this was obtained in 2011.

The office staff has over 30 years of combined student housing experience. Through years of coaching young adults of what it means to sign a lease, and explaining the responsibilities expected by executing the legal document, we feel our tenants are provided with the best resources to have a successful and positive college living experience! While we place the responsibility with the tenants as young adults, we are always available to answer questions of the parents to help make it a smooth process.
